Words of Wisdom (1)

From a friend's blog:

"When you're out there looking for the perfect person, keep these things in mind - people change, no matter how hard they try not to. As you grow older you mature, and with each new level of maturity come different ideas, different needs and wants. The person who was perfect for you at twenty could be the person you hate when you're thirty-five. You have to find someone who will grow with you, change with you, laugh with you and cry with you. A person who fills in where you lack, a person whom you can fill in for when they are lacking. But what about the perfect person, you ask? They do not exist. There are no perfect people, only people who are perfect for each other. You deserve to be happy not in the arms of someone who keeps you waiting, but in the arms of someone who will take you now".

Daily Digest 1

I walked around the neighbourhood to take pictures. The golden hour was beautiful so I tried taking pictures with flare (or light leak?). I didn't really get what I wanted but here are some of the pictures.

I'm having exam tomorrow. I hope it'll be the last final exam ever. Doakan, doakan :)

HDR

I was not really a fan of High Dynamic Range (HDR), especially when it is overdone. But after jumping around on flickr I found that HDR is very appealing when it's moderately done. I am impressed of how it can bring up the details and add dramatic effect to the picture. Here are some HDR manipulations that I tried.

The Gifted Land II: Milford Sound

Milford Sound is approximately 4 hours of driving from Queenstown. The road was very challenging; narrow and curvy. It really put our concentrations to the test. Here are few more pictures from Milford Sound.

The Gifted Land

New Zealand is a truly gifted land. The landscapes are mesmerising.  I am the type who easily doze off in a car but not that time. Every seconds spent sleeping along the journey felt like a huge loss. Here are some landscape photos taken during my trip to New Zealand.

New Zealand is my love at first sight :)

Arshad: Graduation

This is my housemate Arshad. He graduated with First Class Honors in Biomedicine. He's funny and very very tolerant towards all the jokes he got at Rumah Maple. Here are his photos taken at his graduation in April 2010.

Semoga berjumpa lagi. May Allah bless you dear friend.
